Description
Masjid al-Dahab is best known for The Golden Mosque or Moskeng Ginto in Filipino language is situated in the predomanantly Muslim section of the Quiapo district in Manila, Philippine and it is considered the largest
mosque in Manila. Quiapo, Manila is know for its heavy Catholic presence, but Quiapo is also known as a Muslim Center in Manila.

The Golden Mosque is called because of its dome is painted in shinning gold, (only painted gold, not like other mosques in South East Asia where golden mosque was covered with gold foil), now faded.
However, renovations are taking place on the mosque

Constructed in 1976, under the supervision of former Philippine First Lady Imelda Marcos.  It now serves many in Manila's Muslim community, and is especially full during Jumuah prayers on a Friday. The minaret is now completely rusted and the dome is partly rusted.

Around the street of  the mosque entrance there are many children begging money to a Muslims who
want enter the mosque.
